The British Columbia GELP team are focusing on ‘building the capacity of the capacity builders’ (District Superintendents) to support the implementation of BC’s 21st century education development plan.

British Columbia's new Education Plan is outlined in the video below. The province's Ministry of Education believes strongly in the case for change:

"British Columbia has a strong education system, but there is no denying that our world is changing rapidly. New jobs are constantly being created, and technology is changing the way we communicate and connect with each other. We need to modernize the way students are educated so they are prepared for the world, not only as it is now, but as it will be in the future."
